The food is nothing great!
The Mongolian Beef was a disaster. It could be called Green Peppers & Onions with shredded/ground bits of Beef.
The rice is NOT authentic and has very little meat in it. I’m not sure what gives it the yellow coloration - curry maybe.
We won’t EVER be back.

I love their fried rice. I haven't had fried rice with peas and carrots in a while and that is how I like it. It never takes long and the price is reasonable for the amount of food they give. Didn't know this place was in the area. Will be going back.

I ordered Chow mei fun with special instructions and I specifically said no curry seasoning because I'm allergic it was horrible the noodles were mushy it was full of curry and I couldn't even get a refund

Worst chinese ive ever had! Waste of 50$ my chicken n veggies had no chicken! The shrimp w veggies had 4 shrimp in it. The vegetables were mush no crunch as to thats why i love chinese vegetables so much the mushrooms n other were either canned or frozen def wasnt fresh! Would never go there again wasnt happy with one thing other than the egg drop soup was ok. Very disappointed as i dont eat out much n was looking foward to a good meal with my fam. They did give me free donuts but woupdve much rather my food have meat n not mush

Ordered delivery via Waitr. Egg rolls were tolerable. General Tso chicken was horrible, and the fried rice was AWFUL. I'll never go back. Worst Chinese I've ever had.

Hands down this is my favorite place in the Madison area to get Chinese food. Everything is always freshly prepared and served hot. We get takeout every other week and it is our household favorite - our comfort food.

Honestly the inside looks alil sketch, BUT the General Tso chicken is exactly what I'm use to. I'm not from here originally and tried most if not all the Chinese restaurants in Ridgeland and this place has one of the two best versions of General Tso in town. Its alil on the sweet side but the chicken is breaded perfectly and crispy. Next time I will have them make it spicier.

Honestly, this was my sister order. She is from Greenwood, MS and this is her go to dish. She said the place she goes to give a LOT OF FOOD. She was not impress with the amount. She ordered shrimp, onions and rice. She only ate a small amount. She said it was nasty and they only gave her 5 shrimps. She gave it to me. I had some and wanted to like it, but the rice was off. The taste of the dish in general was okay. However, the rice was hard and uneatable. It tasted old. I gave it to the birds. I will not go there again.

Where do I begin? The fried rice is unlike any other rice I've tried...although sometimes the veggies in fried rice aren't cooked long enough but the overall taste is wonderful...any type egg foo young is delicous too..glad I found this place!!!

OMG hands down best Chinese food I've had in a long long time if not ever! We order take out from them a lot more than we should bc when the craving hits you just Have to have it! Everything always tastes fresh and made to order, not greasey, quality products. They don't cook their vegetables till their mush either. The cheese wontons are a must and the peanut butter chicken? Forget about it! So delish!! And now I'm probably going to have to get it for dinner......

The food is absolutely amazing and reasonably priced, my favorite place to eat. And the customer service is above and beyond. I had ordered through doordash and they had forgotten an item on my order and without even having to call they refunded my money for that item.

Honestly wished I had not wasted my time. She gave me the wrong food when I called back up there she tried to tell me that would be more food for me and I kept repeating I do Not eat lo mein that’s why I ordered chicken fried rice. And then they charge you for the mustard packets like a little to go back it’s they charge you 10 for 150 and they gave me the wrong packets When I called back up there not only did she try to convince me it would be better for me she can’t tell me to come back up there I explain to Rob already driven into Madison I’m not gonna come back up there they deliver they never once offered to make it right by delivery that’s for sure

Horrible service. I always make online orders to restaurants where English is the second language. That way there’s no confusion due to a language barrier. They messed up my order giving me General Tso’s chicken instead of General Tso’s shrimp. When I called back approximately 3 minutes after I picked it up telling them that I ordered shrimp, was charged for shrimp, but got chicken. All I wanted to do was go back and get what I ordered and paid for. She tells me that I need to speak to a manager. I stayed on hold for 7 frustrating minutes. When the manager finally comes on she says that she has to check something and call me back. I told her that I was still right down the street and I could simply turn around to make the exchange since I hadn’t made it home (across town) yet. She says no no, I need to call you back. Nearly 20 minutes later she calls back arguing with me about whether I ordered chicken or shrimp. WTH. It can’t be that hard to admit you made a mistake then fix the order. The order was never fixed. Never going there again.

The waitress was fine. The place was clean, even the ladies' room. My Springrolls were greasy. My eggdrop soup was good, so much that I ordered seconds. My combination mein fun was tasteless. There was too much meat not enough veggies and noodles. I was really looking forward to taste an original Oriental sauce flavor and I got a big let down.

This is one of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve ever eaten at; service is fast, and the food is absolutely delicious. I can specifically comment on the egg rolls and the egg drop wonton soup: both are phenomenal. I was also impressed at how quickly we got in, ate, and left. Prices are reasonable as well.

Reading the reviews, I was expecting some fine cuisine. Didn’t have it here. Restaurant was nice and clean and the service was attentive and efficient, but the quality of the food was poor. Used frozen and canned vegetables with all the taste and texture processed out of them. Flavor associated with properly prepared Chinese food was nonexistent. No joke, I could do much better than this in my own kitchen. I will admit the steamed rice was prepared well. True, the food was plentiful and cheap, but it is a verification that you get what you pay for.

The food was excellent and the prices were low, with generous portions. The girl who waited on us was efficient - every order has arrived perfectly, every time - and she checked back in on us often enough to be thorough without being overbearing. I have lived in NY, NJ and CA, so I've had my share of good Chinese food. Gourmet Chinese is the best I've found in the Madison area. Unfortunately, they are very hard to see from the road. They are on the Southbound side of 51, just South of Ridgeland Rd., in the Oak Plaza shopping center. The aesthetics are uninspiring but they have a large menu with very good good. Prices are good too. Free WiFi. And you can take as many sauces as you want.

We took a chance on this restaurant Saturday after an all day soccer tournament with 2 very tired and hungry granddaughters that love Chinese food. The food was excellent, service was great and the restaurant very clean. There were 2 adults and 2 children. We ordered 3 appetizers and 2 combination plates. The servings were generous and we all were stuffed. The food was hot and fresh and good. The best part..our total bill was under $20.00. We will be back and will be telling our friends.

Love their sesame chicken, orange chicken, and shrimp fried rice. I definitely would recommend this place over King Buffet and Grand China Buffet on County Line. Food was hot and fresh. I had a to go order. But there are some tables if you want to dine in. I would definitely recommend this place.

Really yummy food! I got the chicken in garlic sauce and it was great. The husband got Gen Tso chicken and it was nicely fried with not too much batter and the perfect amount of sauce. We live in Gluckstadt. The Chinese place in Madison kind of stinks. Glad to have another option that is fairly close by.
