Not the biggest selection of food, it has the basic Chinese dishes. Kind of disappointed with how the white rice tasted. The sushi bar was very small with 5 or 6 different types of sushi. But, the desserts were alright.

I had reservations about ordering Chinese food where they have a buffet. My dining partner prefers American Chinese food, so we ordered a Happy Family and PuPu Platter (it had a different name). The portions are more than ample, and the delivery service got everything right (and arrived early). Nothing seemed like it has been sitting on a buffet under a warming light. The vegetables were crisp, and the fried items were fresh, not mushy. The beef skewers were the only thing off - a bit tough. But, everything else satisfied.
I’m part Asian food, so I may be more critical than some.

DO NOT EAT AT DYNASTY!!!
We ordered delivery from Dynasty...it was awful! The absolute worst Chinese food my family and I have ever had! Not only was it inedible but they messed our order up and got one of our items completely wrong. I called to try to remedy this and manager was snippy, rude and refused to do anything to fix the situation. We spent $70 on food we couldn't choke down no matter how much sweet and sour sauce we put on it. It ended up in the trash and I'm now at Taco Bell buying food we will actually be able to eat!
I'd give zero stars if that was possible.

I paid over $50 to have food that was old! The buffet food was horrible, noodles were mushy, chicken was old and hard to chew, felt like I was eating cardboard, rice was old and tasteless, like they just poured water on old rice and reheated it. They might as well serve dog food! Told management about the quality of the food and why I didn’t leave a tip, she was in denial and isn’t even aware of what they’re serving in the buffet, or has the wrong labels on food. They should close the place down.

Food was great and all. But the customer service was awful. This white girl seated us and had us all the way in the back beside the only black couple in the building. They brought another black family to the back and they requested to be moved. Few minutes later they brought another group of black family to the back. Mind you, other tables were empty in the front. So I’m just wondering why this white girl chooses to seat all the black people in the extreme back of the restaurant.

1st time here, for low sodium ppl, there’s only couple food you can get. Everything is heavily salted/seasoned. Came on a Sunday lunch time (busy hour). Wait time for 4 wasn’t long (maybe 10min), the waitress was able to clear out empty plate on a average timely manner. The family loves the food. Would come back.

The food here was pretty good. I tried a lot of food and some of it was not so great in my opinion but most of it was delicious. The baked table was delicious as well as the fruit and salad bar. The classic Chinese American dishes like beef and broccoli and fried rice is also something I recommend. The pick it yourself section was super. That was my favorite part. I made sure I at least one or two things from each section. The service at our table was really good.

My friend and I went to lunch again. We haven't been there since March. We've both had medical issues and couldn't go. It was as good as it always is. Everything hot and tasty. One difference was price went up but Everything has. I never have room left for dessert. And they have so many of them. Waitress was so nice. She came by several times to see if we needed anything.

Plentiful parking, greeted at the door, promptly seated & drink order taken, clean environment. Waitress was very attentive. (Been to MANY restaurants in our travels as we like to try new places & the convenience of buffet choices to accommodate everyone's likes within our group) Not many choices, and items there very similar to each other. Very limited vegetable items majority was fried and sauce smothered. Hungry men & boys in group didn't put much on plates or eat what little they did get. Disappointing for price paid. Fish in two large aquariums were cool to watch, and there was a pretty xxxl chandalier. After we left stopped to get everyone in group something to eat as all were hungry. Not asking for fancy, just good food & variety. Judging from plates left at table neither of those things here. Given opportunity again...this place a no-go. Sad, as chinese cuisine is one of groups favorite as you could tell from the excitement when the place was first seen.

My son and I have eaten here several times, and it's ALWAYS delicious. The service is fantastic and the buffet has everything and it's kept hot and fresh. Sometimes you may need to wait a couple of minutes for certain items, but that's ONLY because it's ALL so very good. The only problem we have is we aren't able to go more often, because we DON'T live in Temple.

Heard great things so decided to try it out and it was anything but. We sat down and the waiter comes and mumbles about the drinks then leaves. We sat there for over 20 minutes waiting on a menu but he never came again. Two waitresses were sitting nearby but never offered to help, even covering their face to avoid us asking a question which we didn’t because we thought they may be on break. Finally getting tired of our no-show waiter we got up and went to front counter to pay for the drinks. The person I assume was the manager asked what was wrong and we told her but she gave us an attitude and told us the waiter just assumed we were doing buffet. Having not been here before, we didn’t realize we even needed to ask as a server should ask about it before ditching his table the way he did. Definitely not coming back and advising others to avoid it till the staff is better.

Bought some soup, wonton soup and egg drop soup to go. Paid $20 for both which I think was really overpriced. Paid half the price for the same at Asian Buffet in Killeen. The soup from Asian Buffet was by far better tasting than the ones I got at Dynasty. The wonton soup was okay but the egg drop soup was so thick is tasted as it was old and over cooked. Terrible!!! Never ordering from this place again. Overpriced and terrible food. 🤮

My favv place of all times, they use to deliver to Troy but I moved to Moody and they don't deliver in my area anymore which is really sad lol cause we actually live closer now. But anywho my family loves some good Chinese food. Hands down best Chinese restaurant everrr! We always get the same, combination rice and beef and broccoli 🥦 with fried rice. We order big every time we order and they never disappoint. Thank you to the cook who's always throwing it down in the kitchen 🙌

Food is a bit stale, it reminds me of childhood though. Low quality everything but edible. Acceptable. Prices reflect this. People are sweet, food is clearly made with standards that are a bit dated but nothing that is too big a deal.
Crawfish, sushi, and other items are an easy win. Some of your staple Chinese American fair is lacking in meat quality. I only had the buffet I wonder if fresh us better?
3 for now. Will try again see if I came on an off day.

Best Chinese buffet in Bell County! We love it! Food is good, lots of options. The building is neat, we love the fish. The best part though is how nice everyone who works there is. Everyone is so kind and helpful! We are vegetarian and the sushi chef made a massive avocado roll, just for us. We really appreciated that! Dynasty is also our go-to for delivery, it’s pretty good to-go too!

Check your order before the driver leaves, last 3 orders were wrong. If you want delivery you'll have to order more than 30 minutes before closing because at 8:50 they won't take orders. They used to be the best Chinese buffet I have found in Texas. Not only great tasting food, they have a diverse range of of Asian dishes to choose from. Very busy on Sundays after church, I don't know if they accept reservations, if they do, make them.

Really like Dynasty, but wish for these things:
1. Better egg drop soup. It’s very thick and little flavor.
2. Better won ton soup. Won tons are too thick, and there is no bok Choi 😢.
3. Offer moo goo gai pan regularly please.
4. Smaller pieces of your amazing fried fish so I don’t waste any 😎.
Otherwise we love the booths in the back and service is great.

I love Dynasty because it's the best place in Temple to get Chinese food. But I will have to say this, their variety lacks what other buffet style restaurants offer. True, I did go end of the day near closing but still didn't change the fact that the listed items they have are very few. I wanted orange chicken and cashew chicken, they didn't even have that!
My lasting impression is this: good and tasty food but lacking variety. I was very impressed with how clean the serving area was as well as the decorations were very complimentary to each other. Friendly staff...

Went for dinner Saturday night with my girlfriend. We were seated quickly, and that's where the positives end. My girlfriend and I took turns making trips to the buffet, so that one of us would be at the table to place our drink order. We need not have bothered, as we both finished our first plates before anyone showed up. The waitress that finally showed up took our drink order and disappeared. Then a waiter showed up to take out drink order, we told him we'd given our order to the waitress. He comes back after several minutes to say "nobody is working on your drink order, what can I get you". We order from him, he comes back with a sweet tea when my girlfriend ordered unsweet. She would have asked for that to be fixed, but we never saw the guy again.
I paid, left no tip, and left, and won't be back.

Nearly every dish was something with chicken. They had very greasy fried fish, a place for baked fish but the tray only had some kind of broth left and it was not refilled during our visit. The egg drop soup way very thick and dark almost orange. The bacon fried rice was a nice flavorful dish that didn't have chicken. They also had the typical appetizer type items like spring rolls, egg rolls and rangoon. They had 3 kinds of fried rice, vegetable lo mein and vegetable rice noodles. The only fruit was canned no fresh fruit or vegetables and there was no sushi. The staff kept adding water to the mashed potatoes and then eventually pulled them and brought out a different pan, which seemed odd. The ice cream machine had an out of order sign.
They charged nearly $16 a person at about 1pm, expensive for a lunch price I'd be afraid to see what they charge for a weekend dinner.
The main door has steps which is not very handicapped friendly, there did seem to be another door at the side of the front of the building where there were no stairs but they did not have a sign showing that that entrance was available for handicapped.

After living here for 7 months, my spouse and I tried this place.
Clean and spacious, good buffet, a good selection of food and courteous servers.
It was very busy in the restaurant when we went and the buffet was about $11.50 a person, which is quite reasonable.
Good fried egg rolls, soups and typical Asian dishes.
Lots of tvs around, too, for those who like sports. Seems family friendly as well.

The food is delicious and you get a lot of food for the money. We ordered takeout. Cashew Chicken, General Tsos, Shrimp fried rice and rice noodles. We took it home and ended up making several meals out of it. Also, their gift shop is unique with many interesting and beautiful items. I will be back to buy some presents and, of course to get the wonderful food. The buffet is great too. Lots of choices and all tastes good.

Ordered delivery. Spent $70 for meal plus $7 for delivery. Normally food is good. Today you failed. First time ordering the sampler and everything in it was cold...yes cold not warm. After returning from an overseas tour we wanted to have a nice Christmas meal with our family. After reading some revives we decided to go with Dynasty. We spent over $90 dollars and when the food was ready asked for chopsticks. The manager Arron told us we could only have two complementary pairs that we we would have to pay for extra. I understand this is we had ordered one meal. But we ordered several meals. How do you charge for utensils?? When I mentioned I wouldn’t be returning he said that’s fine. Obviously he doesn’t care about costumer service. He wasn’t willing to give any extra.

I love this place but tonight I paid 43 dollars on food and the only thing fresh was my shrimp egg foo yung. I don't know who you have in that kitchen now but hire some better staff. And get some people that care about quality instead of speed. Because I have never been so disappointed.

This was the worst visit ever, I am never coming back here. We drove from Waco to come here for dinner. The service was horrible I still don't know who my server was he or she never showed up to greet us or take drink order or anything. There was one guy from another section that was nice enough to come over and at least get us drinks. Most of the staff was very unprofessional with unkept appearances for working in a restaurant environment.
I was very embarrassed I even brought my date here. The food was ok, but you could tell a lot of it had been sitting under the heat lamps too long. The atmosphere was nice but the customer service and image representation could use some work.

The food on the buffet was hot as expected. The food that is meant to be cold was with bowls of ice to insure it would be.
The only issue at this establishment is the customers allowing their small children to run all about the tables and buffet area. This could be dangerous for customers with plates of food walking back to their tables. These undisciplined kids will be hurt in a crowded dining room and the parents surely will blame the business when it is their neglect of their children.

Came in for lunch with my family since in the past we had a great experience 3yrs ago. Not only is the staff un-professional but I should of left & seen the warnings as we came in. No hello.. How many in the group. Just a follow me. We sat down & got tired of waiting so we went to serve ourselves food. 10mint later we got to order drinks. Some of the food was great like the chicken brocolli, beef brocolli. The rest was hard & chewy as if it was re-heated, the fries were hard & some were soggy. Took pic not sure if you can see the chicken is hard, the fish over cooked & oily. A big change not sure who is cooking the food but it was burnt/over cooked. A big difference from when we 1st came. At the end of lunch the young lady just left the check on the table didnt even a word to us. The staff is horrible here NOT like it use to be. Not to mention both of my children are small & less than 60 inches tall & they were still charge as adults. Will deffinantly NOT recomment this restaurant & not coming back. On the plus the decor & fish everywhere make it look great.

Mixed feelings. I will start off by saying, food has always been delicious no matter what. It’s the service I have issues with. Today, I placed an online order at 6:31pm, my food was not ready till 7:30pm. I only order 4 items and one being egg rolls. Shouldn’t have taken an hour to receive my food. This happens far to often. I understand things get busy and lots of orders are being placed but come on, 1hr! This has not been the longest I’ve had waited for an order. There are times when my order is made quick and in a timely matter but it constantly feels like what Forrest Gump said “life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what your gonna to get.” Well, That’s how their Togo service is here, “you never know if your order is going to be ready in 1-2hrs or 15-20min.”

I am very pleased to see how this restaurant took its time to figure out how to reopen and do it with such thought and attention. There is an abundance of servers to ensure cleanliness throughout the dining experience. Tables are set far and wide. I know this cost the owners more to hire more workers or keep their full staff while cutting the diner in half. They didn't rush it, and I waited patiently to try it for the first time. They deserve recognition for their efforts and integrity. I have been to many restaurants post first lock down, and this restaurant owner really stand out as the best of the best, and it's no exaggeration. I've been to the nonchalant, the every other table, the take out only at the door. We will be dining here again real soon since their sushi is back. We can't wait! Integrity flows into everything one does, so I expect great things from their sushi too!
This type of Chinese honor and integrity is refreshing since It's been awhile since I've seen in in the restaurant business, last time was 10 years ago at my wedding reception. I will now be a repeat customer in our new town.

This place is honestly amazing. Even with all that is going on, the restuarant went above and beyond by having customers wear new gloves each time a visit was made to the buffet line. As with the last visit the service was above and beyond what is expected. Will be going back as soon as possible. Highly recommended!

On March 29, 2020 I was looking forward to visiting for my birthday. I didn’t get to make it and had been wanting to visit for a couple of years after seeing ads on TV. I guess it will never happen now. Why are some Chinese buffets/restaurants dine in and some are not. I’m from Caldwell and only one buffet/serve yourself in College Station is open for dine in. Still hope to make it if dine in ever comes back.😕

Everything was good before Covid, we ate there regularly. However yesterday we ordered our usual food to go. My order is simple green beans with tofu, the serving size is half of what it use to be and I literally had 5 peices of tofu. Called up to Dynasty restaurant, no credit, you can only swap a food item I just ate. Makes no sense smaller servings but SAME PRICE. Will definitely order food from elsewhere.

The food was great when I went last year but today it was horrible. The cabbage and bacon was hard like it was undercook. The general tso chicken was very very tough. The fish was soggy on the bottom. Just horrible a waste of 14 dollars.

I bought the orange chicken, sweet & sour chicken, with fried rice and an egg roll. The only thing that was good was the sweet & sour chicken. The orange chicken, and the rice taste funny. The egg roll was extra greasy. This makes me just wish I would have cooked at home, what a waste of money.

I placed a order for pick-up today to feed my family my total was 40 sent my son to go pick up food he came home didn't realize they changed portions sizes they went from a 30oz to a 15oz
You should at least notify your customers about the change in portion sizes this was a total disappointment if your portion is going to be this small i will not be a returning customer food was delicious i should of just bought pizza or some chicken to feed my family for 40.00

We visit about 2 to 3 times a month. They just did some remodeling and it's so pretty. The food is always hot and fresh and the best in the Temple area. The staff is also always very nice. My daughter is a restaurant manager at Cheedars and I have worked in restaurants many years so my standards are pretty high..With so many places to choose from you cant go wrong with this choice.

Great customer service 👍. The buffet is big. My mom has been to China twice and she said it reminded her of Hong Kong and Macau. The food is really good. They also have sushi. However, they need to include hot tea on their menu.

Since the renovation, the service is not as good as it used to be. They took away the buttons used to call for your check. We waited 15 minutes and never saw our waitress to get our check. Finally had to go to the front desk and pay. Employees don't seem as attentive as the used to be. Seems to be less choices for the menu as well.

I was actually impressed by the buffet. Quality, freshness, and taste were there. I went on a Wednesday evening an hour before closing and I was not expecting much. Normally from buffets I scale down taste and quality, but it was among the better of the buffets I’ve been to. Price point is where I’d expect it to be. I’ve seen reviews where people say the price point is high, but I’d gladly pay a little extra for quality vs low quality food where I don’t enjoy any of it.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND IRRESPONSIBLE MANAGEMENT. I am extremely disappointed with Dynasty this evening and all of their Management staff. I just had surgery yesterday and I cannot drive. I ordered food for delivery. I did not get everything that I ordered. Upon calling Dynasty and asking them to fix my order they said there was no possible way they could take responsibility for the mistake and they would not deliver the correct dish to me. I spoke with several hosts as well as Stephanie and Aaron. None of them showed compassion for my situation or offered to provide any real help. All they could offer was for me to drive up there and swap the food for what I ordered. After being on anesthesia and having to take strong medication for my pain after surgery I have been instructed by my Dr. not to drive. I’m strictly confined to my home and trying to recover from surgery yesterday.
My sweet grandmother tried to order food for me from there over the phone because she lives out of town. She wanted me to have a nice meal for dinner. They would not let her place the order for delivery because they have to have the physical present for verification.
I am EXTREMELY disappointed in their problem solving skills and lack of proper Customer Service.
Its such a shame because I have brought so much business to their restaurant over the years. Don't count on their Customer Service, their delivery service or their Management as a whole. They could have fixed this for me but they chose not to even though I provided my receipt, address, phone number, the delivery drivers name and phone number and told them of my condition. I will say that I had to use the Favor app because of their inability to take my order from my grandmother in the first place.
They are no longer one of my favorite places in town.

I placed an order online and it said it would take an hour to arrive. An hour goes by and the manager calls me to let me know their system just now notified them of my order so I had to wait almost another hour. I wasn’t given any money off or anything extra with my order for almost a 2 hour wait, not even a fortune cookie. And the food itself wasn’t worth waiting over an hour for. I should have cancelled it and will not be ordering from here again. And I’ve never seen a place put the wasabi in the same container as anything else so it can be tainted by the taste/spice of wasabi but apparently they do that here.

If you are in Temple and craving Chinese food, this is the place to go. They have just completed a make over in the main dining area and buffet. It looks great. They offer a wide variety of food for everyone's taste. I have 4 favorites that I go to every time we visit: Egg drop soup, Wonderful Shrimp, Cashew Chicken, and the Duck Sauce. The waiter told me last night that they make Duck Sauce in house. I mix the duck sauce with the hot mustard and dip the egg rolls in it and any thing else, its DELICIOUS. They do have a delivery service. I have never used it because we live out in the country. They have big screen TVs up with sports and Chinese cultural and food preparation to view. The prices are a little high so you are aware. It's only my opinion but, I believe it is the best Chinese in town and a must visit. Enjoy.

Enjoyed the visit. Really liked the house roll and dynasty roll sushi they had out, but we all ate everything on our plates. Two drinks, two waters, two senior buffets, and two regular buffets (weeknight) was 62.50. A bit pricey for us to go whenever, but definitely a nice place to go on date night or when family is in.

Some of the freshest Chinese cuisine I have had in a long time. Their fried food is not the best on the buffet; too much breading or too greasy. And the lo mein I was not interested in; noodles were to thick looking to me. But, was highly impressed with everything else in house. Sushi was a bit different them I am used to back in Florida, but I was pleasantly pleased with rolls such as Spam. Thank you again, Dynasty!

I took my mom here after her Dr appt, the food was fresh, delicious and plentiful. The chow mein and sesame chicken tasted better than any other chinese restaurant Ive been too. The CA sushi was great, the soup was good and the service was outstanding. We will put this on our monthly trip into Temple for my mom's dr appt. Oh, and my mom loved the ice cream, she usually loves bluebell, but their ice cream had a different taste she loved and I enjoyed the oreo chocolate pudding.

I hadn't been to Dynasty in probably 17 years...the food as always was delicious. every bite brought back good memories. the crab Rangoon was always the best around, still is. the staff is awesome and our waitress was the best..

Never eating here again! Me and my guy got sick after eating take out last night. I was throwing up a lot after a couple of hours. Stomach is still killing me. I never liked their food but he loves it. Dy-nasty isn’t worth my health.

It’s a no for us. I couldn’t believe it had a 4+star rating. Just no! Food was not good, my whole family and I were disappointed. Chicken tasted old, beef broccoli was odd tasting, rice/lo mein were flavorless and the list goes on!

We've been going to Dynasty for 20 years or more. It is still one of the best Oriental food restaurants in the area; however, their quality has gone done a bit. Maybe it was just the Saturday early evening crew, though the waitstaff was excellent, as always.

We visited Dynasty Restaurant last Saturday. The food and service were good but what I just can't get passed is the fact that they charge by height. My 2 sons (both under the age of 12) and I went with friends. I was charged for 2 adults and 1 child just for the fact that my 11 yo son is 6ft tall. I find this charging practice absurd. Just because a child is tall doesn't mean they will eat like an adult. There is nothing stated on their website or facebook page that says if you are over 4ft tall that you will be charged adult price. It was almost $50 for the 3 of us and I find that ridiculous. We will never go back. It's not worth the drive or money for that matter.

The managers are mostly nice at this restaurant. The buffet constantly remains stocked with fresh food, and a large selection as well. The host/hostess' are very helpful and kind. Restroom was impeccable, well the ladies for sure was. I didn't see the men's.

Once again the staff was wonderful! We arrived in the late hours and the host had the kitchen staff prep us plenty fresh sushi for us to devour! So tasty, we ate until we couldn't fit any more. Most definitely recommend and will be going back again and again.

Their food is usually always fresh or they are making more as you ask. Everything has great flavors and the quality is worth the price. The staff is always very sweet and I have to mention that my kids LOVE the fish swimming in the aquariums.

Delivered food spilled inside the bag. Was a sopping mess. Didn’t put cashews in cashew chicken plate. Forgot our egg rolls. When we called they came back out to replace the plate and give us our egg rolls. Only 4 cashews in new plate. Egg rolls were tiny. Never going here again. Shut it down.

Always has the freshest food on the buffet, there always checking if you need your cup refilled! The staff are all sweet, and make you and the kids feel so welcome! They have huge fish tanks that we sit by so my kids are occupied watching the fish and eating. Its a wonderful place to go eat for a couple or the whole family!

Just ok. Most of the food was mushy, but overcooked. Fish tanks had some huge fish in it that kept my son entertained. The restaurant is nicely decorated. Wonton soup was kind of bland, but is a lot better when you add the green onion and fried wontons to it. Tea was good. None of the dessert was good. The swirl and chocolate side of the icecream machine worked, but the vanilla side didn't. The cobblers were all ground up and the berry one was not warm. Banana pudding was runny. The dishes steam up the sneeze guard so you can barely see the food as you're scooping it on to your plate.

There's a reason this place has such high ratings. There are a lot of choices at this buffet. Everything I tried was good. There's a lot of Americanized Chinese food but quite a few of the dishes were authentic, which I was happy to see.
Having been to China I can tell you that having to flag down waitstaff is customary. They don't bother you - if you want something, like a drink refill, you have to flag someone down and ask for it because they consider it rude to interrupt your meal. So don't be too upset if this is your experience here (it was ours).
They were out of some Chinese beer, due to import issues. :( But I won't dock them a star for it because it's out of their control.
All in all this is a wonderful restaurant and we'll definitely eat here again!

The food has no flavor. Waitress asked if we wanted our bill and we said yes. She went and sat down at a table in the dining area and began snapping beans. When we got up and headed towards the front, she then got up and got our bill. The cashier was not friendly and was more interested in going through the receipts than taking care of our bill.

Drove 30 minutes because we were craving Dynasty. Food was good, until the booth behind us had a cockroach on their table- while they were eating. The server came over to squish it and it dissapeared. Needless to say our appetites diminished quickly. Only one plate barely in, and we cashed out full price. The managers didn’t care, the girls that were sitting at the table had to fight the manager just to get their meals taken care of. Granted we didn’t want our meals free, but I shouldn’t have to pay in full for two buffet meals when we didn’t get to thouroughly enjoy the buffet. Their excuse- we just had the exterminator here last night, so they are moving around.... THEY?? Nope! We will NOT be going back. Absolutely disgusted!! And side note, overpriced for the quality of the food.

They were very accommodating! We order here about once a week, or eat in, and they put my order (at my request) in a box as well as the bags to make it easier for me to carry in to my home and prevent damage to liquid soups and sauces. This place is truly awesome!

Inside the restaurant was very dark , food was not good and the price was too much for the variety of food that was available. The sweet and sour chicken were very tiny pieces that tasted chewy and didn’t have any chicken in it . Very dirty would never come back

I've dined in at Dynasty Restaurant for the buffet on two occasions and really enjoyed both. Both the buffet and dining area were clean and the the waiters were nice and kept our glasses full. I enjoyed all of the food I tried, but the highlight for me was the fried fish fillets. I'm sure I'll dine in again at some point.

The atmosphere was nice, with a big beautiful fish tank and typical decor. The staff was friendly and provided regular drink and bussing service. The soup and several menu items were mediocre, with a limited sushi menu. Even so, we really enjoy this place and many of its offerings. I'm especially fond of their fried fish, which I was able to have with a light lemon sauce, and their very nice hot mustard. We go every couple of months and will keep on doing so.

This was the first time going to this establishment and I have to say that it exceeded my expectations. Food was great and fresh. Atmosphere made you feel like you were in China eating. Selection of food different from all the other Chinese buffet restaurants I have been to before this one and I have to say when in Temple you definitely have to come to this place. Oh and prices were reasonably priced.

Dynasty has really gone downhill over the years in terms of quality of food, yet their prices have skyrocketed. Tonight we paid $75 for myself, my husband, and our three young children (two of which were charge $6 for buffets and only ate maybe four bites each.) They raised the price of their buffet almost $3 simply because it’s Mother’s Day. It’s midnight and I’m currently deathly ill from what I’m 99% sure is food poisoning. I don’t think I’ll ever eat at Dynasty again. Ever. EDIT: Just because you didn't receive any other formal complaints doesn't mean it didn't happen. Like I said, I won't be patronizing Dynasty in the future.

This isn't a common thing for me to say, but they're probably the most professionally ran restaurants I've seen. Great service and a wide range of fresh tasting offerings on the buffet. I mentioned "professionally ran" because everyone wears headsets and when service was needed they had someone wherever they needed them within seconds. They only thing I wished they had was the peel and eat shrimp. They had it then took it off. But still one of the better Chinese buffets I've eaten at.

One of the best Chinese buffets in the temple Area. Their selection is very complete. I like their location. Easy to get from I35 or the Hodgen Loop.
The location has a big fish display with a few large fishes.
There is a little store at the front that sell
Chinese souvenirs and mementos.

It was my first time going to Dynasty. I can’t say much for the dining experience, because I got my food to-go; However, the food was well priced, fresh, and delicious. But my five star rating is all thanks the woman at the register, Jacky. She was knowledgeable about everything I asked, and even helped to get me the best price possible at check out. She spoke clearly, and friendly, and seemed genuinely happy to be helping me, which is something you don’t see often, anywhere. Jacky made a return customer out of me. Tbh, Dynasty, she should get a raise. Way to be, Jacky. Keep on being awesome.

The last two times were just awful. The chicken in the orange chicken last time was bad, I'm not sure if it had just sat out too long or what, the cashew chicken was fine. They forgot to include the eggroll though lol. So, I decided to give it another shot. Shouldn't have :/. I ordered H4, House Special Beef. Will upload a pic. Basically it was tons of some stringy veg, I guess bamboo, and beef with tons of gloppy brown sauce. No carrots, no water chestnuts, no baby corn, no straw mushrooms, not a single snow pea. Nothing that's in the description. The beef isn't fried, it's just stewed or something. The rice was old, and tasted off. I don't know what's going on over there, it used to be really good. They remembered my egg roll though this time and it was freaking delicious (though not worth 15 bucks) 😂 so 2 stars 🌟

The one star is not for the food which is good, or the surroundings which are nice, but for the high quantity of small children who are getting food for themselves and are UNSUPERVISED. I realize that Sunday is a busy time. Lots of families, lots and lots of little ones. Parents should always come along with the child to select from the buffet. Many I saw today could hardly see above the edge of the steam table. It's a lawsuit waiting to happen. Control those small children. Thanks.

My husband and I are from California so we are jonesing for good Chinese food pretty bad. This buffet is probably the best we have tried. Worth the drive from Nolanville. Place is a little small and crowded but that doesn't bother us too much. Excellent variety of food, especially classics like beef and broccoli, sweet and sour chicken, chow mein, and fried rice. Will definitely need to come back for another dinner date.

I was very impressed with this restaurant. The variety on the buffet was incredible with traditional Chinese food as well as some American standbys. The wait staff was courteous and patient, finding that balance between attentive but not annoying. Every dish and glass and utensil was clean. The dessert bar alone had probably 15+ items on it!

Ordered Lo Mein for delivery and found hard, dried garlic in it, as well as a free-floating piece of bone a centimeter in length. I could understand if it was a small piece, or attached to a piece of meat, but it was a big piece attached to nothing. I found it eating just the noodles. It was also extremely greasy and upset my stomach. The only thing keeping this from getting a 1 star rating is the fact that it was delivered to us in a timely manner. They really don't seem to care about the quality of their food as this is not the first time I've found the hard garlic in my food. Overall, I would not reccomend ordering from here.

Easily one of the best Chinese buffets I've ever been to.
When I pulled in for lunch on a Monday, the parking lot was around 2/3 full, a good sign. I was seated immediately. The food on the buffet was quite hot, which it should be for food safety reasons. I never saw an empty pan on the buffet, and the people changing the pans did so properly.
All the foods I sampled were excellent. The General Tso's and sauteed mushrooms seemed to end up on my plate every trip. :)
I did notice a lack of hotter foods, such as Szechuan Chicken, on the buffet. I won't don't them for that (it may be a dinner item), as there was plenty of other good stuff to choose from.
The bottom line: I'll be back.

Hot and sour soup is not that great. Egg/spring rolls were kind of soggy. Dumplings tasted and felt like they were air fried, just steam them! Fried rice was good, so was sweet and sour chicken. Kids.loved the mashed potatoes, so I tried them and they were legit.

Not great. We went on a Wednesday night for a birthday celebration. We were in the "small room" that was also used as the storage room for floor cleaners. The server was polite and attentive. The food was less than mediocre... I know not to expect much in this area for buffet style entrees, but it could definitely be more fresh. Not very many offerings for vegetable eaters.

We were there Wensday night 5:15, looked like a good selection of food. But food was cold. Chicken fingers were hard..had to get a knife to cut them ! Crab rangoon were rubbery. Shrimp w/shells on (don't know name ) were mushy.. very disappointed,

Dynasty is an amazingly well put together establishment. I try and go whenever I have the extra cash and everytime I step into the building im always taken back by how beautiful it is inside. You feel so welcome and the food is absolutely mouthwatering. I constantly have friends wanting to come. I have had a horrible time with roomates at one point and had police go into the building to talk to my sister, boyfriend, and I, and the owner stuck up for us making sure they didnt cause a scene and having our table fixed up for us when we came back, asking if we were okay. Dynasty is such an amazing place that I never regret as a choice to eat at.

I tried dynasty this evening, it was a long drive and suggested by a friend.
Dynasty is probably the best buffet I have been too in a long time. The atmosphere was great with alternatively a large open main restaurant and small cozy rooms on the outskirts. Dividing these were some really amazing fish-tanks and sports playing on muted televisions.
The buffet food was okay, not particularly flavorful but not bland either. However, the serving area was clean and there was a good variety with kitchen staff regularly circulating and changing out trays.
The price is pretty good. $17 for a dinner buffet with drink and taxes. I would definitely go again.

This is my favorite restaurant in temple and Belton, i always get the buffet and as expected if you get the timing just wrong and its busy, you might find someone picked all the beef out of the beef and broccoli, or find soggy egg rolls if they aren't perfectly fresh, but by the time I get my secobd plate everything I may have been dissapointed in on the buffet is always refilled or refreshed. I couldn't expect more from a buffet, I love their sushi bar too, its cycled through fairly quickly so it always tastes fresh, and they never run out and cheap out on the amount of sushi on the buffet line like other buffets I've been to. And If you go during lunch, its only 10$! I always get way more for my money here, their fried rice is excellent, and even if its lunch and they don't have the shrimp fried rice out, you can always grab so cocktail shrimp or wonderful shrimp to go with your veggie fried rice.
And don't forget to check out their menu too, I only order off the menu when I'm getting takeout or delivery, but the mushy pork and the sauce it comes with is just awesome, I could eat enough to make myself sick and still want more! Not to mention their sushi selection from the menu is very wide despite the few sushi items on the buffet, but that's not a bad thing you can't just give the best stuff away.
I'm not sure if its still open, but the tsunami sushi bar in the back was also really nice and a good sit down place, was perfect to take a date to if you still want dynasty's food but don't want to seem cheap by going to a buffet, and the staff always keeps my drinks full and makes sure im doing good even though I'm just a buffet customer, they still check up on me.

If I had ANYTHING bad to say about their buffet, its that the majority of deserts seem kinda bland but that's not what you go to a Chinese buffet for, that's more of a courtesy in my opinion. They have soft serve ice cream machines though, which is always nice after a big meal, and their hot deserts, the cherry and peach cobbler are really good, the cold ones are just not my cup of tea, and their miso soup is also pretty good, they have the classic sides so i can always load it up with green onions and seaweed.
Honesty if you like Chinese food, and you like buffets, this place is great. Most of the bad reviews I've seen seem like some people who don't typically like buffets came on a off time and didnt check back to see the food refreshed. Clean, never seen bugs there and i go like once a week.
And even if you don't like buffets, their food off the menu is EVEN BETTER like so good, its made to order if you order off the menu tthey don't just go get you a plate from the buffet and its has a HUGE variety on the menu, but if you're just trying to save some cash, the buffet is great as long as you like buffets.
My favorite restaurant in temple/Belton again, I get excited to go to this place, its awesome I'm actually about to go in again for lunch right now, check it out if you haven't, and if you had a bad time once before, give it another chance every resturaunt has its off days(even though I've never seen one here personally).

First time at Dynasty. What drew us in was their commercial. We went in right before noon (lunch rush). The ambiance is great. You walk in and the stations are all steaming, how ever, 1/2 the items we served ourself were very cold. The staff were nice. The restaurant is clean. Huge sushi lover here. Not what I expected. Out of their selection 2 of them were good.

Found this place on our way from Austin to DFW. Clean restaurant. When you first walk in the host waa very nice. The wait staff are very good at making sure there aren't any dirty dishes on your table and drinks are always full. Good food with a great assortment. We will stop here again on our trips thru.

So let me just share with you guys. This place is a traditional Chinese buffet but also features a complete à la cart menu.
Some years ago when the managers were considering to lower the quality of the ingredients to maintain profits the owner called an emergency family meeting and said we will never lower the quality of our ingredients. We can raise our prices but we will never lower the quality. That really means a lot to them even today.
I ate at the buffet around 1:25 PM and found items to be uncommonly fresh and delicious compared to other Chinese buffets I’ve ever been to. But the real stand out was the kitchen ordered sweet-and-sour chicken.
The batter was sweet and crisp and light. Like a funnel cake at the state fair. The chicken moist and juicy and noticeably fresh. It was as if the chicken was hand battered and cooked only moments before I eat it. Thinking now as I type this, it must’ve been. When I tasted would’ve been impossible any other way.
It was a reality altering experience eating that sweet and sour chicken. I’m serious.
The restaurant itself was originally built some time in the 70s and taking over by this family in 1993 where they have provided the community with great Chinese food since that time. Inside there is a maze of hallways and boots and intricate woodwork and neon lights. You really do feel like you’re in some other place.
There is even a huge gift shop at the entrance that sells everything from solar powered waving cats to ninja katana’s and Jade Dragon boats.
The general manager came by personally to thank me for driving from Dallas several times and everyone was completely professional. Even the waitress wore a white button up shirt and a black bowtie. Super fancy.
It’s quite a drive, two hours and 20 minutes from Dallas, but dare I say it was well worth it. What an experience. I can’t wait to come back with more people.

Worst Chinese I have ever eaten. I ordered to go on a Sunday afternoon and the wonton soup was ORANGE, it looked like oil broth with no flavor not even salt and the wontons were mush. The Chow Mein had no flavor either. The fried rice was dried out and I'm pretty sure they just picked it off the buffet. I was expecting fresh food for a take out order. The only decent food was the fried dumplings which were fresh and flavorful.

This is the absolute best place within 30 miles of Waco for Chinese food they have an exceptional all you can eat buffet. Seafood on the weekend. but every time that I go to Temple I must have the house lo mein I mean for 7.95 you can't get more bang for your buck it's at least two meals maybe even three plenty of beef chicken and shrimp and already seasoned so well that there's really no need for soy sauce or any of the other additives

Went here for a date night the atmosphere is awsome it looks like a Chinese resturant outside and in including the koi fish outside. The service was spot on we didn't want for anything. The manager came around to check on us which was something g that seems to not happen anymore. The food was pretty good I wish there was a little more selection but there was enough. The crazy thing was the hot wings. These were some of the best I've had. Crispy super flavorful. A little hot but not over powering. I really liked the button on the table to get in touch with your server. Sam did a great job thanks for a nice experience.

I love this place. The music, the staff it's so realalistic. The food is super great. I have been eating here since the 80,s. Never had a bad experience. I believe it to be the best in town.
Another great meal. Our waiter was top notch. He kept my half and half tea right all night without me having to tell him each time what I was drinking.

Got there at 830 guess they were closing early on a Sunday. My girlfriend relocated from Boston had to listen to me brag about it for weeks. Once we get there no fresh food was cooked other than fried shrimp. Rice was over cooked hard and gross. No fresh food was ever put out and they still charged full price for old food. Won't be bragging about this place or going there ever. Next time we will go to yank sing.

Some food barely above lukewarm. Wonton soup was tasteless and wontons were water logged. Rang for check twice but never got it. Waitress only came over once. Had to talk to 3 different people at register to pay out since I didn't have a check. Just really bad service and mediocre food.

This buffet is terrible & over priced. Each pan (for instance) had such a heavy thick sauce...I found one piece of meat in the beef & broccoli. The sushi was very good as well as the cocktail shrimp, but that’s as good as it gets. The crab Rangoon had no crab meat & tasted sweet 🤢 the spring rolls were soggy & the wonton soup was terrible. We will not be back, you all can do better especially for the price you charged us! I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone

The food here is very good and a decent price. The wait and everyone else is very friendly. They have a variety of foods and a buffet, if that's not for you then they also have menus. The wife and I usually get the buffet.

What a great buffet! The variety was staggering... I wish I could have sampled everything that looked good to me! There weren't as many vegetarian options as I had hoped for, most notably egg food yung. Nobody at our table went away hungry, that's for sure. We will definitely visit on our next trip to Texas!

Ate there may 22 and been sick with food poisoning still sick 4 days later. From what I understand from friends I have talked to they been there this month also has food poisoning. Saw ad on TV....if you like Shrimp this is not a place to go. The only Shrimp on lunch Buffet was the cold boiled Shrimp you peel. There was a fly flying around the deserts area. And we all know that flies craw on everyone and everything ...to include poop.

Talk about exceeding expectations! This restaurant is a buffet as well as regular dining experience. The buffet is pretty large and has your standard Chinese fare, but it also has American food and Sushi. We ordered from the menu and the prices were very reasonable. The food was excellent and the portions were huge. They serve the dinner family style, like at PF Chang's. I would say a party of 2 could easily share on entre. Highly recommended.

As first-time visitors, we chose this restaurant for Easter Sunday dinner. Needless to say, we were very disappointed. It was nothing like the commercials shown on TV. The buffet was a limited variety of choices and not very pleasing to the palate. By the time we got to our table to sit down and eat, the food was cold. It appeared that no effort was put into food presentation, nor preparation which would make it enjoyable. The only positive aspect of our visit was the Wait Staff. They were very efficient and courteous. However we won't be going back.

Buffet was terrible, food was sitting out for a long time. They tried to charge us for a kids buffet for a child that did not get any food from buffet, and tried to charge adult buffet for an 11 yr old when its say 12 and under. Then they say well she is taller than this height. Well news flash, not being racist, but american kids and people are taller than Asian. Then when we complained about extra charges they called the police and tried to not let us leave after paying our bill, said we have to talk to police. the manager even chased us to the parking lot in such a rush caused my 11 yr old daughter to slip on their walkway and bruise her knee. I would not recommend patronizing this establishment.

The food is better when it's delivery vs the buffet.I have no doubt received food off the buffet when its late and we place a big order. Its just not as fresh.I love the chicken and broccoli wish they didn't charge more to make it than beef and broccoli but they say it's not a regular menu item... and they have the best egg rolls.good place for Chinese not close to closing time.

Good food I eat here at least three times a month. So now I'm a little upset how they allow their hostess to wear really short dresses and the lady was bending down in front of my son so unaware that her underwear where showing. Very inappropriate for a family restaurant. I hope the managers will fix this. Managers and owner are rude dont go there food made me sick then he told me that I poisoned myself for real why would i do that. So rude use to like it here but now it's not worth it. For the size of the restaurant, I expected more of a selection. BUT, the food is pretty good. I go anyway. They allow folks to sit and chat for hours. Service not bad. Occasionally a new girl comes along but even then, it's all good. The staff will sometimes dump a ton of green beans on a table to snap (city folk probably will be shocked). They all pitch in. I'm just happy to see that the green beans are fresh! Sushi rolls not my favorite though. Good for lunch or a first date. Family friendly.

I loved this place. First time here. Xmas eve They gave me a free bamboo calendar at checkout for the new year. I love the setting of the huge fish in the aquariums, the beautiful long waterfall decor outside. They have a button that sits on your table that u push a certain button for a certain thing either to be waited on or for the bill.( i never had to push to be waited on we were constantly waited on ) the food was fresh and fantastic with a much wider variety than most chinese restaurants locally.

We have been customers of dynasty since moving to Temple. Last evening [dec31] we attempted to eat there about 4:40 pm but the food was cold and the fried foods were hard and dry. We took our ticket to the cashier and were ask "how was everything" which I replied no good everything was lukewarm and cold. there was no reply only would you sign the credit card receipt and do you want a copy. Is this the way Dynasty handles issues

I am a commercial driver. I have had chinese food from coast to coast.. Dynasty is one of the best places I have ever eaten at. I have the pepper beef. The meat was cooked perfectly it was not rubbery or dry. A lot of places I have had the same dish at the meat has a odd fish taste. The vegetables we fresh and not over cooked. I will be ordering from this place the next time I am in town. which is tonight. I will add to this review after I eat. unless I go out to eat. It is not fair to just sample one fair when this town has more to offer.

We found a finger nail in my husbands lo mein out of the buffet. I brought it to my server Chandler and the manager attention. No one came to our table. I called Chandler to our table because now he avoided us like the plague and he said we where lying about the finger nail 😡.When we went to pay to and ask for the manager he was "in the bathroom". We waited 10-15 mins he never came back to the front of the house.
We ate here every week for at least 6 months. We will never return.

The best Chinese buffet around, regarding quality of food and environment. Very expensive. On mother's day, they offered a "special" that was misleading and was actually more extensive than normal. The wait staff did not explain price difference at all. Used 1 small hand written sign on podium, by front door, below eye level, that explained details of "special". Did not see till on our way out after eating. Very very long wait. Food was all good but I will only return during lunch on normal week days, when it's the cheapest, or get takeout or delivery. Not worth dinner, weekend, or holiday prices.

Usually enjoy ordering from here online and rarely an issue. We had one issue about 2 years ago and the management was extremely helpful when our order wasn't received but we were charged for the meal. They offered to deliver it personally and within 15 minutes. This type of leadership is impressive and can usually dispel any displeasure a customer might have. However, today we attempted to order online and selected the reasonable hour delivery wait and was charged for the meal and delivery fee. When the hour passed I suspected something was wrong, as delivery is usually prompt. I called but only to be met with the response that they received payment but it did not print out and was offered to have the food delivered but it would take 30-45 minutes longer. I requested a level of compensation and was told I would be able to have a free desert of peach cobbler.. I would have been satisfied with a "yes sir our apologies we will have it to you in 10-15 minutes".. they then told me I could not have a credit back to my account because they "do not have a code for that". After speaking with a manager, she explained the total would be refunded but no attempt to save a customer. COME ON GUYS!!! Y'all are better than this!!!!!!
Update: manager called and refunded the price of the meal. Very pleasant and appreciated his candor. Time warner apparently has been doing a number on businesses due to sketchy internet connectivity.
Will consider business again with Dynasty after some time.

Me and my husband tried this place last night becuase we wanted to try another chinese buffet. We drove 25 miles and got dissappointed on the food. The chicken was cold and the sauce was thick, the rice was burned, the noodles were real greasy, there was not much variety to beggin with. The dessert table was nasty. Not much to choose from. The salad was out where the flies were. I mean everything about the place dissapointed me. We spent 38$ and to us was a joke lol we had stomache's when we got home. Idk where all these good reviews come from. This place is disgusing!! Please dont go here its a waste of money!!

Ordered here tonight and the food was amazing. I ordered online for delivery and got it within an hour of ordering. They give you plenty ofsweet n sour sauce for your chicken. Food was very hot still when arrived.i would definitely order again. The food tasted fresh. I like the option to sub for lo mein instead of rice for added charge. Portions are very big and filling.

I read the negative reviews before eating here so that I could honestly compare notes. I have to say that I completely disagree with the negative reviews. I'm visiting my mom in Temple and we both love a good Chinese buffet. Dynasty is at the top of the many we have been to. We arrived on Friday during the busy dinner rush and was seated in just a few minutes. Everyone greeted us and were very nice. The dishes on the buffet were constantly being filled, nothing ran out or looked old. I love sushi and most times I will get a piece or two at a buffet because it's just not the same as a sushi bar, but this sushi was delicious! My mom got a tiny bit of several selections and though her favorite was the General Tsaos chicken, she enjoyed every single bite of everything on her plate. If you are visiting out of state like me or a local like my mom, you will love this place! My mom was really excited to find out that they deliver too! Huge menu, not just the buffet.

Love this place its always our first choice around here. They even already know what we're going to get when we come in buffet and sweet tea for me water for kids and water with lime for my girl. My ONLY problem with this place... you changed my pan fried dumplings... i loved those things now they for some reason taste COMPLETELY different. Pleeeeease go back to the old way yall made pan fried dumplings. Everything else is amazing. I kind of wish yall had real crab but its ok.

So this place has got the basics. The buffet style food and the sushi. My only problem is everything taste the same as the thing beside it. But I have got to mention that this place is great for groups. About every month we go in a group of friends of nearly like 50-75. They kindly designate a line for us and keep the food flowing (we come starving from not eating too much over the weekend).

Usually we get our food delivered to my home from here. So we got food from the buffet it was treacherous!!!!! Some of the food was more greasy fried stuff the donuts they served... dude HALF of mine was completely soaked and the dough was wet still!!!! When we we get it delivered it is pretty good but we are. are NEVER doing takeout here again!

Horrible service will never return again. Rude servers horrible hosts. And nobody cares. It took two plates to get my drink and the servers took condiments off my table while I was still eating...i left no tip and talking to the manager got me a 15% discount when after it all was said and done I should have been comped. But it's fine. They needed the $12 more than repeat business I guess. Good luck guys, luckily I can't give 0 stars...

It's been awhile since I have been to Dynasty. The selection was more like Golden Corral than a Chinese buffet. The quality also was not as good as in the past. Time to find another restaurant. Service was excellent. If only their food was as well.

I cannot say enough bad things about the food at this place (though the service was friendly and prompt.) If you are a fan of bland, Americanized, faux-Chinese food made with thick, gloppy, packaged sauces, then you will love this place! This place is great! The gentleman who answered the phone was polite even though he clearly was busy(it was a Friday night) and the gentleman who delivered it to us was kind as well! I've never been able to try their food because each time I've tried to order for delivery, either their website goes down or they say it'll take nearly two hours for the food to arrive. No thanks. It used to be the best but the last couple times we've gone not so much. Food on the buffet that's been there too long was cold and hard. Shrimp fried rice with no shrimp even after a fresh batch was brought out. There's a container of boba tea that was exposed and had tapioca pudding that had spilled into it. Time to start looking elsewhere for good Chinese again.

It's very difficult to find a Chinese buffet where the sushi does not taste old and fishy. This place keeps it semi fresh. Taste good. The sweet and sour soup is delectable! The service is super friendly and welcoming. We stopped on our way back to Dallas and we will save it on our map for next time!

The good wasn't all that hot. I mean it wasn't heat hot, this was at around 5 to 6 pm. So it's supposed to be prime time for people eating out. It seemed like they forgot to rotate out the old stuff before dinner. I wasn't impressed with their selection when it came to variety of Chinese food. I like sesame chicken and chicken lo mien and beef brocoli. They only had the spicy version of the sesame chicken which was a little disappointing, but the other items weren't great which further annoyed me. I really whish that I could say that the food was top notch however the day I was there I didn't get that. Most of the stuff I ate was a little bland as well strange flavor combo on stuff that I've had many times from many places. The reason why it gets 2 stars I'd because of my waitress, she was on top of it. They have a little system there where you can press a button an alert your server to go to your table. I didn't get a chance to use it because she was always there, filling up my cup and taking my plates. Also the place looks nice and has a nice atmosphere to boot. I had high hopes for the food. Shame I didn't get that.

A friend and I went for the first time a few weeks ago. We both enjoyed all of the variety and the food was not overcooked! As far as a Buffet goes it ranks right up there. I just ordered here and the food is terrible. Hopefully the chicken they use is fresh. I doubt it.
My order was beef and broccoli with sweet and sour chicken. And chicken rice.
First the sauce they use is a runny vinager and water mix and its red. Blood red. Eww.
The chicken is hard.
My beef and broccoli is ok. Meat tender broccoli nice and hot. But kinda tasteless.
My rice is dry. Tasteless.
Overall i hate my order. And please don't ask about my friend's food.

The only thing i liked was the containers it came in.
And they only gave us 1 sauce a piece. 1 duck 1 soy and mustard. Please tell me what im using Mustard on in this dish....

For years this has been a great spot! I loved there food. They also had great delivery service. Tonight I ordered dinner. This had to be hands down the worst diner I ever had. Chicken should not taste fishy at all. Some food under cooked, some was just mush over all just really bad. The rice had a chemical after taste. I called to ask for a refund. The manager would not even talk to me. The lady said I " should get a refund within 5 days" and also I am now band from there restaurant! What kind of customer service is that banning there customers? So sad to see them slipping like this. If I could I would give them a 0 star rating

This is absolutely my favorite Chinese food restaurant anywhere! We eat here at least 4 times a month. Although the buffet is absolutely delicious with a huge selection, they also have menu items that you can order. The buffet is the main event, but they also have oysters in a half shell and sushi. Service staff is great. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Dynasty restaurant is a chinese buffet the food is ok. Wish they had a little more selection of asian food instead of american food like mash potatoes. Pricing is average for dinner $16 / per person. Love the decor has the chinese dragons on the ceiling and has a very authentic decor. Good size dinning area it doesn't feel crowded even when its busy. My kids like the big fish tanks in the dining room. Service is the best part the wait staff is on top of everything. Yes we return just about every other week.

The actual restaurant and food are great, but their choice in online credit card retailers is horrible. Less than a month after moving to Temple and only using my new card at Dynasty's online ordering, my information was stolen and over $300 of junk was charged to it.
Cleared that mess up, never used credit at Dynasty's online site again, never had any more problems. This shouldn't be a problem for people eating at the actual location though.

Get outta town Nami. Kick yourself out Kiku Gardens, You have been tamed Wild Wasabi, Shut Down Shogun in Temple. There is a new kid in town and when people find out, the only name for Sushi in Central Texas will be Tsunami.
Attached to the Dynasty Chinese Restaurant in Temple is the Tsunami Sushi Bar. They remodeled an older area, put in a sushi bar, hired REAL JAPANESE ATAMAE (SUSHI CHEFS) from Austin and what they came up with is sushi magic like this area has never seen.
Tsunami recently opened their doors and they are young. The chef on duty, the waitress, and the manager were young and enthusiastic. The chef has been trained in classic Japanese style by his father. If this chef is still learning, I can't wait to meet his Dad. The culinary pride of this young man was evidenced by the artistry that he sends out with every plate.
Now lest you think I have gone completely around the bend, there were a few bumpy patches.
The bumps - My mushroom Miso Soup was served tepid, but the minute I mentioned it the manager came out with a bowl of steaming hot soup. The salad was unremarkable with the everyday HoHum Chinese ginger dressing. The salad was a YAWN + (See I told you they were not perfect). The lettuce was fresh and crisp and cold, but it was still a boring American iceberg lettuce salad.
Our waitress had a problem keeping up with us. Empty serving dishes sat in front of us too long, & our beverages became empty so we had to ask for refills, they were not offered. I never did get a bowl of Ginger/Wasabi, but I rarely use it on good sushi so I just shared with my wife. Our waitress was sassy and fun, and just needs a little time, she had what it takes. Erin noted that the music was more American Jazz than Japanese, and the manager ran back and changed it immediately.
The high points - This restaurant reeked of Asian atmosphere. The furnishings were in great shape and avant-garde; instead of the usual lacquered pine the bar was a beautiful black marble! There was no TV in the bar (YAY!) and once the music was changed, the feeling became close to perfect. We were allowed to order directly from the Atamae so there was no opportunity for mistakes. I told my chef to have fun and make something new and fun. He did!
The Food - Tsunami just did just about everything right. (Other than the salad) The Saba (Mackerel) was not oily and was very tasty. Instead of buying the pre-marinated Saba others use, Tsunami makes their own marinade that was light and delicate. Usually shunned as too fishy, a first timer could enjoy this.
The Suzuki (white sea bass or equivalent) dish was accompanied by a yellow tobiko that set off the flavor. The Hirami (Halibut) was served with Ponzu sauce (a soy sauce with, dashi and Japanese citron) which is a requirement to set off a delicate white fish such as Halibut.
I requested Tako (octopus) Sashimi dusted with sea salt and washed with lemon. The chef did a great job, only forgetting to use the lemon in the presentation, but the dish was as good tasting as I have ever had it. The menu went out the window as dish after dish was given to us. Each plate reminded me of Christmas morning as I waited to see what was coming next. The Ama-Ebi was fresh frozen but acceptable and they deep fried the head for me without my asking.
My wife had her favorite Soft shell crab roll and spicy tuna roll. I tasted each and they were great. She raved about them. The spicy tuna roll was just spicy enough for me. There was spicy mayo on the side that wife dipped her slices into. Both my wife and Erin tasted several of my dishes and liked them. This is highly unusual for my wife, but the Chef made them look so good she could hardly resist.
Will I go back? YES, FREQUENTLY!
Will I go back to the others? NO! and neither should you.
Enjoy this place while it is young and unknown. The day will soon come that you will have to wait in line, and wait I will.
It is JUST THAT GOOD!
